He came up right away and disposed of it for me as I cowered in the other room. I love my honey lamb.

I hate bugs. I have no mercy for them. I always tell my kids, if they're outside, that's fine, it is their territory. But if they're in our home... It's fair game!!
You crack me up. I just went out to dinner with some girlfriends last week and one of them confessed that she and her husband text each other when they're sitting in rooms adjacent to one another! At least you and Ed were on different levels. :)
Okay, I have to admit that a huge, jumping spider would definitely freak me out too.
